     A Heart For Puppies has been pairing the perfect puppy with the perfect puppy family since 2019. We specialize in miniature, hypoallergenic puppies. Through our interview process, we assist you in determining the right breed and temperament for your family and situation. Rather it be a Cavapoo, Mini Goldendoodle, Mini Bernedoodle or Mini Dachshund we know our puppies and can assist you in finding the perfect puppy for your family.

   A Heart For Puppies is a partnership of three families who are committed to bringing an elite-level of breeding standard to the breeder world. A Heart For Puppies’ breeders are certified partners of the Purdue Canine Care program which is quickly becoming the elite gold standard for breeders.

   We start by providing a loving, caring environment for our puppy parents. Moms and dads have 24-hour access to the outdoors and are on a schedule for training and playing throughout the day. Our moms and dads are not left to a solitary life but are considered our pets and are treated as such. We provide health testing, training and cage-free living for our moms and dads, insuring they are healthy, both mentally and physically, before they start on their own parenting journey. We have mom and dad DNA and genetically tested and OFA certified to insure they are healthy and to mitigate the possibility of bad genetics going to puppy.

   Once puppies are here, we begin socializing within three days exposing them to various stimulations such as sound, touch, textures, the experience of being held and talked to. The puppies are exposed to these processes several times each day. Once a puppy reaches their 6-week birthday, they are weened from mom and begin training: leash training; where they learn to walk on a loose leash and to sit on command, crate training; where the puppies learn a crate is a safe and positive place, and preparatory potty training. This training will continue daily until puppy goes to their forever home.

   We invite the public to our farm to meet puppy parents and play with puppies. Our vet makes regular visits to inspect and monitor puppies and puppy parents. Purdue Canine Care representatives make scheduled and impromptu visits to make certain a high standard of care is always in place for all moms, dads and pups. We have had animal rights activists and local government officials tour our farm and express approval for how we breed and care for our puppies and puppy parents.
We know it is not always possible, but we invite everyone to our farm to see how we do what we do and to, maybe, let a puppy pick you. In the event you cannot make it out, we can get your puppy safely delivered to you.
